The diversity of facilities housed within the building posed significant challenges for us and the team. Our role in the design of the building, which was delivered as BIM level 2 included providing the detailed designed of the MEP Services and Infrastructure. We also assisted Tameside Council with their environmental services strategy helping them to meet their aspirations for sustainable buildings and development in Tameside.

The development delivery team included Ryder ArchitectureCurtins Consulting, SES Engineering and Robertson Group, who took over from Carillion after the company collapsed.

Tameside One is part of the multi-million pound Vision Tameside master plan, which aims to improve and boost the local economy by attracting new businesses, staff and students to Ashton town centre by creating new jobs and better opportunities.

Ronald McDonald House Charity

Ronald McDonald House Charity

One of our newest clients is Ronald McDonald House Charity, who we are very proud to have been providing Building Services Design consultancy for during the last year at their Manchester and Oxford sites.

The Charity helps families to stay close to their child in hospital while they undergo medical treatment by giving them a warm and welcoming environment where they can stay for as long as they need.

At the Manchester Ronald McDonald House three spaces within the existing Manchester house have been refurbished to create five new six person family bedrooms along with an external reflection area. These brilliant new facilities were achieved because of the unrelenting fund raising efforts driven by Steve Burne and AEW Architects:  https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/steveburneroom
