PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Hannan Industrial team are currently providing Building Services Engineering consultancy to Tritax Big Box for the second logistics facility at Tritax Park, Merseyside.

Currently under construction, Unit 02 will provide 254,400sq ft of warehouse space along with 14,400 sq ft of office space.

Our duties included:

o Passive Design Analysis

o LZC Feasibility

o Part L2A Compliance

o External Lighting reports

o MEP Services Performance & Monitoring Duties

The building has been designed and built to achieve Net Zero Carbon in construction and a BREEAM Excellent rating.

We are working alongside UMC Architects, C4 Consulting, Tier Consulting, Gerald Eve and main contractor GMI Construction on the team.

The site forms part of the Halsnead Garden Village Sustainable Urban Extension (HSUE) which represents part of the wider vision for the Halsnead Garden Village and is allocated for employment uses and a Country Park.

Located east of J6 of the M62, Symmetry Park Merseyside is a sustainable 1 million sq ft employment park in Knowsley, which forms part of the Halsnead Garden Village Sustainable Urban Extension (HSUE) which represents part of the wider vision for the Halsnead Garden Village, one of Liverpool City Region’s most significant development sites and which will provide a major boost to the local economy. In partnership with The Land Restoration Trust, a 65-acre Country Park will form part of the employment site.
